Canyon Base Matte Painting
For this project, I created a matte painting of a sci-fi industrial base in a deserty canyon, utilizing 3D modeling and projection mapping techniques with Nuke to achieve a 3D effect using cards. This process allowed me to bring depth and realism to the scene, as I carefully mapped textures onto 3D geometry to seamlessly integrate the base with the surrounding landscape. The contrast between the large silver base and the rocky terrain was emphasized through these techniques, showcasing my ability to create a matte painting through computer visual effects for a dynamic final piece.
